When is the next intake?
Intakes vary by programme and campus — most programmes have intakes throughout the year. Submit the application form and a counsellor will confirm the next available intake for your chosen programme.
What are the entry requirements?
SPM/O-Level holders can apply for Foundation and Diploma programmes; STPM/A-Level/matriculation or diploma holders can apply for Bachelor’s degrees; degree holders are eligible for Master’s, PhD and Post Basic nursing certificates.
Can I use PTPTN to fund my studies?
Yes — most KPJU programmes are PTPTN-eligible, and many students combine PTPTN with KPJU scholarships to cover tuition and fees for the duration of their studies. Our team will guide your PTPTN application once you enrol.
What scholarships are available?
The Foundation in Science Fee Waiver (worth RM10,500), Biasiswa Merit for top students, Dermasiswa B40 fee waivers for eligible B40 students, and Setiasiswa — a 10% tuition waiver for KPJU alumni continuing their studies.
What is a Conditional Offer Letter (COL)?
A COL secures your place in a programme before your final results are released. Tick the Conditional Offer Letter box on the form and you’ll receive it by email — typically within 3 days. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
Which campus should I choose, and is hostel available?
KPJU operates three campuses: Nilai (the main university), Johor Bahru and Penang. Some programmes are campus-specific. Student accommodation is available — contact Student Affairs at 018-9466975 for hostel details.
I'm a working adult — are there part-time or ODL options?
Yes — MBA Healthcare Management (ODL mode), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ODL), Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science with Health Sciences (Part Time), and Post Basic nursing certificates are all designed for working professionals.
What documents do I need to apply?
Typically: IC copy, SPM/STPM (or equivalent) certificates and transcripts, passport-size photographs, and for Master’s/PhD, your degree certificate and CV. Start with just the form — admissions will send a personalised checklist together with your offer letter.
