Frequently Asked Questions
What are the entry requirements for international students?
Requirements vary by programme and country. Generally, diploma programmes require high school completion (O-Levels / SPM equivalent) with science subjects, while degree programmes require A-Levels, STPM, foundation or an equivalent diploma. Submit the form above and our team will do a free eligibility check for your specific country.
Are the programmes taught in English? Do I need to speak Malay?
Yes — all programmes are taught in English. You do not need Malay for admission. Basic Malay is helpful for daily life and clinical practice, and we offer support classes to help you pick it up quickly.
Can I get a scholarship?
Yes. KPJU offers merit-based scholarships and tuition support for international students. Tick “Tuition Support Application” in the form and our advisors will check your eligibility for free.
Do you help with student visa applications?
Yes. Our international office works through the visa process with you, from document preparation to arrival, so you never handle it alone.
Is accommodation provided?
Yes. We arrange secure student accommodation near campus and can confirm your housing before you depart your home country.
Can I work part-time while studying?
International students in Malaysia may work part-time up to 20 hours per week during semester breaks only, subject to Malaysian regulations. Our team will brief you on the latest regulations upon arrival.
What documents do I need to apply?
Typically: passport (valid 18+ months), academic transcripts & certificates, passport-size photos, and an English proficiency certificate if required. Start with just the form — we'll send you a personalised checklist.
How will you contact me after I apply?
On the platform you choose in the form — WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, Viber, WeChat, email or phone call — usually within 1–2 working days.
